SECURITAS offers its customers tailor-made solutions with professional personnel, enhanced by technical components, and optimizes the quality of service in the protection of industrial, trade and logistics buildings with the multifunctional hand-held terminal DT-X11.
Voices of experience
"The extensive range of requirements due to the different application areas, such as robust design and protection from dust and moisture, were given high priority when selecting a suitable hand-held terminal", explains Manfred Görg, Authorized Representative and Sales Manager at Securitas Sicherheitsdienste. "The combination of Casio hardware and Identass software has created a system which can be adapted quickly and easily to the relevant task in the field of security services." The DT-X11 works reliably outside in the rain, as well as at extremely low temperatures such as those experienced by our employees at refrigerated warehouses. The terminal is also equipped with a UMTS radio module which enables rapid online connection."

Use
The mobile data terminal DT-X11 from CASIO expands the operational area of the SECURITAS security guards considerably: The employees use the UMTS radio module of the hand-held terminal for online communication and video transmission during regular security patrols. If an alarm is activated, the security guard is informed immediately via radio signal to his terminal. The integrated barcode or RFID reader confirms that the checkpoints have been passed.
The telephone function of the terminal can be used via the headset. E-mails can also be received, written and sent. The innovative terminal software from Identass increases the efficiency of personnel resources, expands the operational spectrum of the security guards, and facilitates the documentation of all occurrences and the entry of these occurrences in the electronic security log known as "eguarding".
