The customer
Heimfrost is one of the most prominent names in the field of frozen food and ice-cream and supplies over a quarter of a million households with items from a catalogue containing around 400 frozen products. With a distribution channel from four sites and over 60 independent partners, around 350 employees work to ensure that Heimfrost customers are visited regularly every three to four weeks and to achieve an annual turnover of around €30 million.

Use
The Heimfrost sales delivery service requires special functions in mobile devices such as magnetic card readers and ability to accept cash-free payment via customer or credit card. An important criteria for choosing the IT-3000 was also the easy handling and operation of the terminals, keeping the amount of time employees need to process orders to a minimum and preventing mistakes. With the hand-held terminal IT-3000 from CASIO, the sales delivery personnel from Heimfrost-Partners Chr. Krapp Tiefkühldienst GmbH now complete the entire sales process on the doorstep and trip administration and inventory management in their delivery vehicle. The innovative system can also be used to create receipts, manage cash points, card payments and online communication for goods orders.
